ShadOwplay is a balance between light and darkness, not between good and evil.

The music of the turn of the century has

emerged from the dreamscape with the energy

and mystery of ShadOwplay.

ShadOwplay was formed in 1989 in Salt Lake

City by Zam. It started off as an experimental

project fusing funk, rock and oriental music.

Since André (1957-2002) joined the band, ShadOwplay

acquired its unique hypnotic energy.

Zam and André are both accomplished

musicians in their own right, but it is the

combination of the two that makes the music

memorable. Zam plays the fretless bass with a

fluid, melodic style and has an emotional and

schizophrenic voice, with poetry of depths that

are easily remembered. André is THE guitarist

of the millennium, being a sound machine with

touches of blues and metal. Together they

create the songs and power that is

ShadOwplay.

There will be a mysterious new piano player in ShadOwplay with the release of "Woo Hoo"!

The magic that is ShadOwplay sings to the

dreams and emotions of all.
